Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hybrid Security Program Manager to lead and oversee security-related programs for Walmart’s distribution centers and retail stores across the U.S. Majority of the work can be done remote, however the individual must reside in Arkansas. This role requires a strong background in managing security and fire protection projects, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

The Security Program Manager will manage a team of 8 Project Managers, ensuring successful execution of projects, adherence to timelines, and compliance with client standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all security-related projects, including fire systems where applicable.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of 8 Project Managers, ensuring alignment with program goals and client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and deliverables using project management software.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
  • Provide regular status updates and reporting to senior leadership and the client.
  • Travel as needed (up to once per month) for site visits and client meetings.

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • PMP Certification.
    • Proven experience as a Program Manager overseeing security-related projects (fire systems experience preferred).
    • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple Project Managers.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with Bosch and Edwards systems.
    • Background in security and fire protection systems within retail or distribution environments.
