Traveling Security Technician – Washington, DC (Nationwide Travel Required)
Starting at $65/hr
Loyal Source is seeking a highly skilled Security Technician based in Washington, DC who is willing to travel nationwide to support multiple headquarters and field office locations. This role provides critical maintenance and operational support for security systems across various GAO facilities.
Position Overview
The Traveling Security Technician will work independently at GAO field offices and headquarters locations across the United States. Responsibilities include maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting integrated security systems such as CCure 9000 PACS, Bosch BVMS, Bosch IDS, and related components. This position requires strong technical expertise, professionalism, and the ability to coordinate directly with facility points of contact.

- Dallas
- Dayton (WPAFB)
- Denver
- Huntsville
- Los Angeles (TBD)
- Norfolk
- Oakland
- Seattle
Key Responsibilities
- Support maintenance and operations of security systems across all GAO field offices and HQ
- Work independently on‑site, coordinating with facility POCs
- Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot CCure 9000 PACS, Bosch BVMS, Bosch IDS, and associated components
- Ensure system reliability and compliance with facility requirements
- Provide timely technical support during scheduled visits and as needed
Required Certifications & Experience
- Software House CCure 9000 Enterprise Architecture MAS and SAS
- Software House CCure 9000 Advanced Integrator
- Bosch BVMS Technical Certification
- Bosch IDS Certification
- Ability to obtain a TS Level Security Clearance
- Strong experience with integrated physical security systems
- Ability to travel frequently and work independently in the field
