Electronic Security Technician

The Electronic Security Technician will plan and perform security system installations, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and demolition tasks. Security systems include access control systems, burglar alarm systems, CCTV, and other electronic and physical security systems.
Responsibilities:
* Install and maintain electronic security systems
* Execute installation and maintenance activities within planned durations
* Test, troubleshoot, and preform maintenance to security systems
* Participate in configuration of servers, workstations, panels and other programmable components
* Execute testing to verify high quality installations
* Execute testing to identify and correct system problems at component and system levels as part of system sustainment activities
* Install system raceway and system cabling
* Terminate and test system cabling and all components
* Install equipment racks, enclosures, panels and all mounting hardware components
Requirements:
* High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent
* At least 2 years of security installation experience
* Knowledgeable of security equipment systems (i.e. intrusion detection, assessment, and access control)
* Capable of installing and maintaining various alarms, access control, and assessment system devices
* Ability to pass drug and background test
* Current driver’s license
