Project Manager Remote

Primary Responsibilities:

  • This position is a remote position with 60% travel in the United States.
  • Must have experience in managing subcontractors. This includes, but is not limited to verifying quality of installation, evaluating percent complete for subcontracted tasks, evaluating equipment and materials used to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and standards, validating invoices for payment, negotiating costs, and manage scope change.
  • Ensure contractual compliance for all installation activities.
  • Manage and document inventory of all equipment and material purchased for the project and/or shipped to the project site for installation.
  • Ensure internal project management procedures are followed, including project revenue forecasting and estimate at completion.
  • Meeting and/or reporting weekly to internal and external stakeholder entities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10-12 years of verifiable project management experience. 20 years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Prior experience as a project/program manager for ESS projects with a full understanding of managing clients, financials, vendor relationships, subcontracting, and project level staff.
  • Technical background in electronic security systems and professional OEM or IT certifications a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as strong conceptual, organizational, problem solving and research abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients and show demonstrated expertise in managing several complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and can obtain (or has) a federal government security clearance.
  • This position requires a valid driver’s license

Desired but Not Required Attributes:

·       Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

·       Relocation assistance may be negotiated.
