Estimator (Audio Visual)

Responsibilities:

·       Demonstrated ability in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.

·       The ability to provide detailed material and labor cost estimates.

·       Proficient in reading and understanding RFP documents, contract specifications, technology, architectural and electrical drawings.

·       The ability to review any local, state, and federal codes and interpret these codes as related to the project.

Qualifications:

·       Preferred: Avixa CTS, Avixa CTS-D, Crestron, AMX, Extron, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA

·       Preferred – 3+ years’ experience in AV system design for rooms ranging from Huddle, Conference, and Divisible Conference Rooms, Operational Watch floors and Enterprise-wide system design

·       Minimum of 3 years’ experience in AV System design/engineering

Additional Qualifications:

·       Expert knowledge of modern AV system design including:

–       Unified Communications integration (Zoom, S4B, MS Teams, WebEx, etc…)

–       Audio system design

–       Video system design

–       Experience with Crestron, AMX, and Extron control system design

–       Experience with Multicast IP network design and architecture

–       Knowledge of AV over IP system design (SDVoE, Crestron NVX, AMX SVSI, etc…)

–       Dante and AVB system design and configuration

·       Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, ability to make technical presentations. This includes interfacing effectively with customers, peers, and executive level management.

·       Excellent organization and planning skills, able to set priorities to accomplish tasks.

·       Ability to execute results

·       against deadlines.

·       Ability to solve technical problems, make recommendations and provide solutions.

·       Knowledge of general construction and the construction process

·       Knowledge of IP network design and architecture.

·       Experience with use of manufacturer-specific design tools (Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, QSC,

·       etc…)

·       2D drafting in AutoCAD for architectural coordination and system interconnection.

·       High level abilities in MS Office Suite, specifically, MS Excel, MS Word
