Engineering Facility Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Perform repairs, preventative and emergency maintenance for all facilities equipment including various electrical and mechanical systems
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Complete documentation including logbooks, work orders, and purchase requisitions
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Accomplish preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities support systems
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Develop processes and system procedures to ensure 24/7 operation with minimal down time
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Perform cleanroom cleaning in accordance with a contamination control plan
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Occasionally participate in on-call rotation and work extended hours, if required
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Make recommendations for operational improvement for facility systems
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Follow Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Execute testing of critical facility systems.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Setup and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of critical facility systems under simulated operating conditions, record result and provide data/quality records at project reviews.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Perform operations and maintenance tasks that encompass the maintenance, repair, and operation of the critical facilities systems utilized during spacecraft processing.
Qualifications:聽
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- High School diploma and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Communicate both orally and written in a clear and concise manner
- Read, understand, and work from Standard Operating Procedures, electrical drawings, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Able to supervise contractors and vendors performing work in the facility as needed
- Capable of walking and moving around job site
