Staffing agency meets the unprecedented demand for travel nurses with an independently verified standard of excellence
ORLANDO, FL – January 6, 2021 – Loyal Source, an Orlando-based total workforce solutions provider, has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Health Care Staffing Services Certification by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Joint Commission’s standards are developed in consultation with health care experts and providers, measurement experts, and patients, and The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care.
Loyal Source underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review on October 29, 2021. During the visit, a team of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with related certification standards including important individual and organizational functions that are essential to providing safe, high-quality care. Materials reviewed included those regarding leadership, human resource management, information management, organizational charts, data privacy policies, and required credentials in employee files. Reviewers also conducted onsite observations and interviews. During the process, the auditor noted that Loyal Source’s new hire orientation and emergency management plan were two of the strongest resources observed in a review of an organization by The Joint Commission.
Mark Pelletier, RN, MS, chief operating officer, Accreditation and Certification Operations, and chief nursing executive of the Joint Commission stated, “We commend Loyal Source for using certification to strengthen its program structure and management framework, as well as to enhance its staff recruitment and development processes.”
“Earning certification from The Joint Commission is a badge of honor for our travel healthcare division, demonstrating our commitment and accountability to clients and the healthcare professionals we employ,” said Brian Moore, CEO at Loyal Source. “Our travel healthcare division is rapidly growing, and we’re proud to adhere to an independently established and verified standard of excellence.”
