Loyal Source is looking for a Phlebotomist/Laboratory Technician for an employment opportunity in Durango, Colorado.

Position Overview:

The Phlebotomist/Laboratory Technician will be responsible for drawing labs and working closely with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely laboratory services for Veterans. This role involves performing phlebotomy tasks under oversight from VA laboratory services and maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess at least six (6) months of general experience in a relevant field.
  • Must possess at least six (6) months of specialized experience in phlebotomy or laboratory technician work.
  • General experience should demonstrate the ability to perform the work required or provide familiarity with relevant processes and subject matter.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform phlebotomy procedures consistent with approved and signed orders in Veterans’ electronic health records.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient lab work consistent with VA laboratory standards.
  • Maintain lab competencies as approved and signed by the Memphis VAMC Laboratory Service.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient care through laboratory services.
