Physician Assistant (PA)

Loyal Source is looking for a Physician Assistant (PA) for an employment opportunity in Durango, Colorado.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) training program, accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of PA (ARC-PA) or its predecessor organizations.
• Possess a master’s degree in any discipline, or a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with one year of experience as a PA.
• Must have successfully passed the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE).
• Authorization for prescriptive authority is required.
• Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license and registration in Colorado.
• Must meet VA qualification standards for Physician Assistant as outlined in applicable VA policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide healthcare services to both enrolled and unassigned patients, ensuring care consistency with licensure and clinical privileges.
• Ensure that patient care plans include medical recommendations for clinically indicated care.
• Offer healthcare services to patients within the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), managing or arranging for consented care.
• Provide leadership within the care team, delegating care responsibilities appropriately, and focusing on continuous improvement of team processes.
• Review clinical and performance data with the team to enhance care delivery.
• Ensure patients have same-day access for face-to-face and virtual visits during regular clinic hours.
• Collaborate with PACT staff to develop personal health plans that incorporate care management and coordination according to patient needs.
