Registered Nurse

Loyal Source is looking for a Registered Nurse for a notional employment opportunity in El Paso, Texas. 

About the Role 

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare services within a federally managed facility that provides care to individuals in U.S. government custody. Working in a secure, clinic environment, you will provide direct patient care, coordinate with healthcare providers, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. This position requires professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and a strong commitment to ethical care and regulatory compliance in a high-accountability setting. 

Pay: $38.29 + 4.93 (H&W) = $43.22

Key Responsibilities 

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans. 
• Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations in accordance with clinical protocols. 
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to medical emergencies. 
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare staff to coordinate care. 
• Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR). 
• Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and prescribed treatments. 
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, infection control, and safety programs. 
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. 

Required Qualifications 

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing). 
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. state or territory. 
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association®. 
• At least one year of clinical nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, or similar healthcare setting. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in correctional, detention, or public health environments. 
• Proficiency in Spanish (verbal and written). 

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods. 
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. 
• Respond quickly in emergency situations. 

Schedule 

This facility operates 24/7/365. This full-time position requires working days, evenings, as well as weekends and holidays. Specific hours will be determined by the facility needs. On-call availability is not required.
