Psychiatrist

Loyal Source is looking for a Psychiatrist for an employment opportunity in Durango, Colorado.

Position Overview:

The Psychiatrist will provide specialized mental health services to Veterans, focusing on diagnosis, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic strategies. This position involves working independently to deliver comprehensive psychiatric care for both assigned and unassigned patients.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license in Colorado.
• Must meet VA qualification standards for Physicians as outlined in applicable VA policies.

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver psychiatric services to enrolled and unassigned patients in accordance with VHA Handbook 1160.01 and contractual requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine mental health needs and establish diagnoses for individuals presenting for care.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure thorough and coordinated patient care.
• Maintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
