Loyal Source is looking for a Psychologist for an employment opportunity in Durango, Colorado.
Position Overview:
The Psychologist will be responsible for providing mental health services to Veterans, collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care. This role involves conducting assessments, formulating treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions for both assigned and unassigned patients.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license in Colorado.
- Must have a doctoral degree in psychology from a graduate program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS), or the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA).
- Must have completed a professional psychology internship accredited by APA. If the internship was not accredited, the candidate must be board certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in a relevant specialty and maintain board certification.
Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the PACT team to provide mental health services for Veterans in accordance with VHA Directive 1160.01 and contractual requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate patient needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Offer therapeutic interventions, including individual and group counseling.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes.
