Position Overview:
The Administrative Associate will provide essential clerical support and administrative functions to ensure efficient operations at the healthcare site. This role involves aiding staff in logistical care coordination and guiding patients through the VA healthcare system.
Qualifications:
- Must possess the required education and experience to perform clerical support and administrative tasks effectively.
- Completion of scheduling training according to VA policies and guidance.
- Must meet VA qualification standards for Medical Support Assistant as outlined in applicable VA policies.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support and clerical services to both assigned and unassigned patients presenting for care.
- Collaborate with PACT staff to integrate logistical elements into comprehensive care management plans.
- Guide and direct patients and their support persons in navigating the VA healthcare system and completing administrative functions.
- Deliver scheduling services in accordance with VA policies and guidance, ensuring efficient patient appointments and follow-ups.
