Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine diagnostic radiological procedures/services appropriately.
- Adhere to radiation safety policies and procedures in accordance with Radiology Department protocols.
- Send appropriate image series to radiologists for reading according to the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) protocol.
- Correctly position the patient for examinations and make necessary technical adjustments.
- Process digital images and submit them for interpretation by radiologists.
- Document all procedures and maintain records in accordance with MTF policy.
- Perform system calibrations and quality control tasks as directed.
- Initiate repair call procedures for equipment malfunctions.
- Observe and report any adverse reactions to contrast media and take necessary emergency measures.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
- Certification: Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the specialty identified in the TO.
- Experience: One year of experience within the last two years in the relevant specialty.
- BLS – CPR (AHA) certification required prior to starting.
Schedule:
This is a 24/7 facility. Shift Hours in the overall department schedule:
- Saturday Sunday and working Holidays 12.5 hours shifts, Days 0700-1930 Nights 1900-0730
- Monday – Friday Day/evening shifts: 0630-1500, 0700-1530, 0730-1800, 0730-1600,0830-1900, 1030-2100
- Monday – Friday Nights: 1900-0730, 2100-0730
Benefits Offered: W2 pay package with paid leave, holidays, and eligibility for health insurance options.
Pay: $29.40 per hour.
