Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Loyal Source is looking for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for an employment opportunity in Tupelo, Mississippi.

Position Overview:

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will provide specialized therapy services focused on marriage and family dynamics. This position involves working independently to offer comprehensive therapy services to both assigned and unassigned patients.

Qualifications:

Must hold a full, current, and unrestricted license to independently practice marriage and family therapy in Mississippi.

Must possess one of the following educational qualifications:

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in marriage and family therapy from a program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE).
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in marriage and family therapy from a regionally accredited institution.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in a comparable mental health field (such as Licensed Professional Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing, Psychology, or Psychiatry) that meets the current VA qualification standard for the profession.

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver marriage and family therapy services to both assigned and unassigned patients in accordance with VHA Directive 1160.01 and contractual requirements.
• Conduct assessments to determine therapy needs for individuals and families.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans focusing on relationship dynamics and family interactions.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and patient progress.
