Loyal Source is looking for a Primary Care Physician for a notional employment opportunity in Kingston, New York. Note that this position is notional and contingent on the award of the contract.
About the Role:
This position involves professional medical work focused on providing primary care and treatment to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Primary Care Physician will serve as a practitioner delivering medical care and treatment services within a Commonwealth facility for individuals facing mental or physical injury, illness, dysfunctional behavior, and/or developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain continuity of health care and medical treatments for individuals.
- Guide individuals and their interdisciplinary habilitative treatment team in formulating and implementing comprehensive individual habilitative care and treatment programs.
- Oversee clinical operations, assign, and direct the work of other professionals and nonprofessional nursing care staff.
- Perform duties generally with limited or no direct professional supervision; subject to review by a clinical and/or administrative supervisor through consultation, review of individual case histories, staff reports, and personal inspections.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation with a Doctor of Medicine or osteopathy degree from a medical school recognized by the New York Medical Licensing Board or the New York Osteopathic Licensing Board, and completion of an approved U.S. residency training program in family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, or certification in the osteopathic field of general practice.
- Annual completion of 50 hours of continuing medical education approved by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association within the past 12 months, with three years’ post-residency experience emphasizing primary care.
- Current license to practice medicine in New York issued by the New York Medical Licensing Board or Osteopathic Medicine Licensing Board, along with a current certificate to prescribe medication from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Products, and the ability to utilize a computer for order entry and/or prognosis notes.

Pay: Starting at $131.98 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
