Fire Alarm Project Manager

Loyal Source is looking for a Project Manager for an employment opportunity in Woodside, New York.
About the Role
The Project Manager will play a vital role in overseeing Fire Alarm projects within the Technical Services division. This position will ensure the effective management from the design phase through to completion, liaising with internal teams, external contractors, and engineers to deliver successful project outcomes aligned with Firecom’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full scope of responsibilities for Fire Alarm projects, from design to completion.
- Work internally with sales and operations management team to review all aspects of projects.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and/or electrical contractors on systems design and installation.
- Visit job sites for walk-throughs with electrical and general contractors and for fire department inspections.
- Coordinate material delivery requirements and timely billings with administrators.
- Communicate with management on the identification and selection of key subcontractors, as well as provide oversight and coordination of subcontractor network.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of fire alarm Project Management experience.
- Experience and ability to work with engineering/architect firms on plans and specs.
- Experience in “Value Engineering” proposals to meet the requirements of a spec in a cost competitive bidding process.
- Working knowledge of NFPA 72 along with other related codes and standards.
- Working knowledge of NYC Fire Department/building department codes & regulations.
- Working knowledge of fire alarm equipment, including control panels and devices.
Additional Qualifications
- NICET Level 2 in Fire Alarm Systems is a plus.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay: $55.00 per hour.
