Alarm Service Technician

Loyal Source is looking for an Alarm Service Technician for an employment opportunity in Columbus, Ohio.

About the Role:

As an Alarm Service Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the security infrastructure for commercial clients. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems, ensuring high-quality customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, replace, and repair malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
• Proctor, coach, and teach other team members.
• Provide reliable, high-quality customer support.
• Instruct customers on system operation and functionality.
• Perform system testing and signal verification.
• Organize and utilize technical resources, information, and materials efficiently.
• Monitor and ensure the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Complete and submit all required documentation in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
• Ohio fire license preferred.
• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• Must have full knowledge of local/national codes.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a drug and background screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc., in English.
• Lift certification and OSHA 10.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Pay: $30 per hour.
