Service Coordinator – Security Systems

Loyal Source is looking for a Services Coordinator – Security Systems for an employment opportunity in Lenexa, Kansas.

About the Role:

The Services Coordinator – Security Systems is essential within the Technical Services division, focusing on organizing and managing the dispatch and coordination of security system services. This position involves close interaction with technicians, subcontractors, and clients to optimize service efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role encompasses managing work orders, ensuring timely material and equipment delivery, and maintaining accurate records to facilitate smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments, dispatch technicians for service and inspections to maximize tech productivity.
• Create work orders, provide status updates to customers, and follow up with technicians.
• Confirm work orders are completed by reviewing all notes and following up on pending items.
• Complete contract and quality control paperwork.
• Schedule subcontractor work.
• Work with technicians to ensure timely completion of all paperwork.
• Maintain appointment schedules.
• Order and manage material and equipment for projects.
• Receive materials and equipment, issuing them to technicians as needed.
• Complete daily reports.
• Assist in coordinating activities, such as scheduling, customer notifications, and equipment procurement.
• Conduct physical inventory.
• Act as a liaison between Sales, Project Managers, and Technicians.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Minimum 3 years of experience performing administrative duties within the security industry, preferred.
• Proficiency in dispatching and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
• Excellent decision-making, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to escalate issues when needed.
• Data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Attention to detail with speed and accuracy.

Schedule: M-F 7am – 4pm

Pay: $20 per hour.
