Security Installation Technician

Loyal Source is looking for a Commercial Security Installation Technician for an employment opportunity in San Antonio, Texas.

About the Role:

Hiring a motivated and experienced technician who is eager to showcase their talent and deliver quality installations that provide a high level of customer satisfaction. The role involves working across San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Uvalde, La Vernia, Devine, San Marcos, New Braunfels, and all surrounding areas within a 3-hour radius. Possible overnight travel required due to the geography of our job sites, possibly 4-5 nights a month. All installation projects include access control, video surveillance, intrusion, fire alarm, clocks, intercom, and other technologies requiring integration. The technician must possess the ability to read and understand specifications and shop drawings and be financially aware of the project’s impact. A determination to aggressively but carefully push projects to completion on time is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute installation projects involving Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, Fire Alarm, Clocks, and Intercom.
• Read and interpret specifications and shop drawings.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality installations.
• Travel as necessary across the designated area, with potential overnight stays.
• Maintain a financial awareness of project impacts during installations.

Required Qualifications:

• Texas Alarm license.
• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• Must have headend experience installing panels such as lenel, mercury, and ccure
• Must have programming abilities with a major manufacturer preferred would be: Software House, Genetec, Milestone, Open Options, Ipro
• Must have 3 or more years of experience.
• Manufacturer Certifications a plus.
• Experience with any of the following: Bosch, DMP, Verkada, Milestone, Lenel, Avigilon, Software House, Zenitel, Axis, EST4, or Silent Knight.
• Working knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a pre-employment drug screening.
• Lift certification and OSHA 10.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Pay: $30 per hour.
