Job Description

  • Located at the Kennedy Space Center. 
  • Provide Project Coordination primarily related to BOSS Shop support, Engineering support, and Inspection Services, to NASA managed projects.
  • Provide support to project proposal development and implementation, as well as invoicing for work completed. 
  • Projects range in multi-discipline complexity. 
  • Support ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) estimates for BOSS support to NASA managed projects.
  • Monitor Shop, Engineering and Inspection support, to NASA and confirm adherence to task order requirements, and use of proper charge numbers. 
  • Coordinate with NASA PM to ensure assigned projects are completed on time, and within scope and budget, and facilitate contract mods to extend schedule as required.
  • Actively participate in NASA held construction project planning and requirements validation.
  • Prepare Task Plans and other reports and correspondence.
  • Establish and maintain filing system or database as needed for tracking project status.
  • Update a Project Management database (Celoxis) weekly to maintain project status, cost and schedule expectations.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.    

 

Experience/Education Requirements

  • Bachelors’ Degree and at least 5 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
  • Experience in Project Management / Construction Support with infrastructure related focus. 
  • Good communications and analytical skills. 
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
