Site Superintendent

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Superintendent supervises and maintains all installation and all onsite related tasks accordance with contract requirements. This also includes the field construction process of assigned projects in accordance with the plans and specifications, to ensure that each phase of the work is completed on schedule, within the budget, and with the quality workmanship expected by the company and the customer. The Superintendent supervises, inspects, reviews, records and reports on all site construction related activity ensuring that the assigned subcontractors perform their work on schedule. May supervise one or more projects at the same time. 

Requirements:

·      Five to seven years of project coordination and supervision of construction projects.

·      Knowledge of various types of HVAC, mechanical, DDC, and elevator related systems.

·      Experience working with Federal and/or State government is preferred. 

·      Excellent interpersonal skills for employee supervision and client interface. 

·      Ability to obtain government facility access.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·      Knowledge of elevator modernization and/or maintenance including hydraulic jacks, hydraulic pump units, piping systems, hoist equipment, signal fixtures, and controls.

·      Knowledge of fire alarm systems including fire alarm panels, annunciators, transmitters, device types/layout and maintenance/testing activities.

·      Knowledge of fire sprinkler systems including layout and maintenance activities.

·      OSHA 30

·      Construction Quality Management for contractors (QCM)

Pay/Benefits:

· Pay is based off of experience starting at $40/hr
