Electrical Engineer

Position Summary:

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for systems integration on airborne vehicles, working within a project team to integrate complex systems.

Responsibilities:

·       Design and analyze electrical systems for fixed wing aircraft modifications and avionics upgrades.

·       Prepare engineering documentation, including drawings, reports, and test plans.

·       Generate FAA certification documentation for integrated systems.

·       Develop work instructions and recommendations for cabin electrical modifications.

·       Provide liaison support for electrical kit development.

·       Coordinate with approval authorities for necessary assistance and approvals.

·       Delegate and assign tasks within the engineering team.

·       Apply specialized knowledge to design innovative solutions for complex issues.

·       Drive continuous process improvements and enhance efficiencies with a focus on safety.

·       Ensure top-tier service, safety standards, and performance, exceeding customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

·       Minimum of four (4) years of aviation experience. Additional experience considered in lieu of a degree.

·       Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.

·       Proficiency in AutoCAD

·       Proficiency in E3 (Electromagnetic Environmental Effects) Electrical Engineering

·       Experience with FAA certification processes, including STC, ODA, and familiarity with FAA FARs.

·       Solid foundation in PDM & Configuration Management (CM) practices.

·       Airbus experience preferred
