Stress Engineer

Position Summary:

The Stress Engineer is a key contributor responsible for conducting comprehensive static and dynamic stress analyses, including CFD, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses.

Primary Responsibilities:

·       Conduct static, dynamic, CFD, fatigue, and damage tolerance analysis.

·       Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering Design for aircraft modifications.

·       Perform static analysis using hand and finite element models.

·       Analyze primary and secondary aircraft structures, including modifications and repairs.

·       Utilize Finite Element Software (FEMAP, NX/Nastran) and CAD Software (CREO, SolidWorks).

·       Take full responsibility for analysis tasks, ensuring completeness and quality.

·       Communicate project developments and issues to the Manager.

·       Develop reports, instructions, procedures for modification/installation and repair work.

·       Apply expertise for creative problem-solving.

·       Provide liaison support for mechanical and structural development.

·       Ensure high-quality service, safety standards, and performance for customer satisfaction.

·       Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.

·       Minimum four (4) years of aviation-related static and dynamic stress engineering experience required.

·       Minimum two (2) years of F&DT analysis experience preferred.

·       Proficient in CAD (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Finite Element Software (FEMAP) required.

·       Familiarity with FAA certification processes, STC, ODA, and regulatory requirements.

·       Experience and foundation in PDM & Configuration Management practices.
