Loyal Source is looking for a Security Systems Apprentice for an employment opportunity in Arlington, Texas.

Position Overview:

As a Security Systems Apprentice, you will gain essential hands-on experience and develop technical skills in electronic security systems. This apprenticeship serves as a stepping stone to advance into a Tech 1 role as you build proficiency and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

IP Camera Provisioning:

  • Utilize utility applications to provision IP cameras.
  • Update and modify the username, password, IP address, and firmware settings of cameras.
  • Record and maintain MAC addresses and other relevant details in a matrix for reference.

Panel Builds:

  • Assist in the construction and setup of Access Control System (ACS), Burglar Alarm (Burg), and Fire panels.
  • Integrate and wire control boards while managing cable organization using tools like finger duct and/or Panduit.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated technical aptitude with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent attention to detail coupled with organizational skills.
  • A basic understanding of IP networks and electronics is preferred.
  • Note: This position provides the opportunity to gain valuable industry knowledge and develop into a more advanced technical role, contributing to the security systems field.
