Alarm Service Technician

Loyal Source is looking for an Alarm Service Technician for an employment opportunity in Memphis, Tennessee.

About the Role:

The Service Technician will play a pivotal role in the Technical Services division. The individual will be responsible for the troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing of commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems within a 100-mile radius of Memphis. The position requires a hands-on approach and the capability to guide and teach others while providing reliable high-quality customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots, replaces, and/or repairs malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
• Must have an ability to proctor, coach, and teach others.
• Provides reliable, high-quality customer support.
• Performs customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
• Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
• Fire alarm experience highly preferred but not required (Edwards, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight).
• Knowledge of DMP, Brivo, and Hanwha.
• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• Must have full knowledge of local/national codes.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a drug and background screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English.
• Lift certification and OSHA 10.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM.

Pay: $30 per hour.
