Lead Security Technician

Loyal Source is looking for a Lead Security Technician for an employment opportunity in Dallas, Texas.

About the Role:

This position involves leading the technical service division with a focus on installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing commercial alarm, CCTV, and card access systems. The Lead Security Technician works independently and provides training and direction to other technicians, ensuring high quality technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots, replaces, and/or repairs malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
• Performs new system installations, upgrades, and additions.
• Must have the ability to proctor, coach, and teach others.
• Provides reliable, high-quality customer support.
• Performs customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
• Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience.
• Mastery knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Texas alarm license required.
• Manufacturer Certifications highly desired: Software House, LenelS2, Genetec, AMAG, etc.
• Understanding of the function and design of alarm systems.
• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• Must have full knowledge of local/national codes.
• Must possess strong communication/leadership skills when working with others.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a drug and background screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc., as presented in English.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8AM – 5PM

Pay: $35 per hour.
