Loyal Source is looking for a Security Technician – Service & Installation for an employment opportunity in Mobile, Alabama.

About the Role:

The Security Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and card access systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of commercial infrastructures by delivering high-quality and reliable customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installs, troubleshoots, replaces, and/or repairs malfunctioning or inoperative security and fire equipment.
• Performs new system installations, upgrades, and additions.
• Provides reliable, high-quality customer support.
• Conducts customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, materials, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
• Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
• CFAT (Certified Fire Alarm Technician) certification is a plus.
• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• Mastery knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
• Full knowledge of local/national codes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills when working with others.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a drug and background screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc., as presented in English.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7AM – 4PM

Pay: $30 per hour
