Fire Alarm Inspector

Loyal Source is looking for Fire Alarm Inspectors for employment opportunities in Louisville, Kentucky.

About the Role:

This position plays a critical role in ensuring fire safety and compliance within the service area from Louisville to Lexington. The Fire Alarm Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and tests of fire alarm systems, documenting deficiencies, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine tests and inspections of fire alarm systems, fire safety systems, and fire sprinkler systems.
• Verify proper operation and prepare accurate documentation of work performed.
• Prepare inspection/ deficiency reports for management submission.
• Interface with service management to schedule and handle work assignments.
• Explain work performed to customers and address their inquiries.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain and organize truck inventory to meet customer needs efficiently.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of inspection experience.
• Kentucky Fire Alarm Inspector License.
• NICET certification is a plus, but not required.
• Edwards EST certification preferred, although not required. Inspectors will handle all types of panels.
• Experience in Suppression, Exit Lighting, or Maintenance Inspections such as CCTV or access is beneficial.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM.
