Master Service Tchnician

Loyal Source is seeking a Master Service Tchnician for a role in Houston, TX.

Troubleshoot, service, program and repair commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and Card Access systems. Works independently and provides specialized training and direction to less senior installers and trainees.

Service area: Houston metro and 1.5 hour radius

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

·      Troubleshoots, programs, replaces, and/or repairs malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.

·      Performs new system installations, upgrades, and additions.

·      Must have an ability to proctor, coach, and teach others.

·      Provides reliable, high quality customer support.

·      Performs customer instruction on system operation and functionality.

·      Performs system testing and signal verification.

·      Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.

·      Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.

·      Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

Qualifications

·      TX alarm license

·      7+ years of experience

·      Mastery knowledge of fire systems, commercial intrusion systems, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.

·      Understanding of the function and design of Fire and Alarm Systems.

·      Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.

·      Must have mastery knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.

·      Must have full knowledge of local/national codes.

·      Must possess strong communication/leadership skills when working with others.

·      Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a drug and background screening. 

·      Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English.

·      OSHA 10

Schedule: M-F 8am – 5pm
