Loyal Source is a seeking a Service Technician role in Houston, TX.
The primary function of this position is to service, troubleshoot and repair low voltage panels, wiring and devices. Ability to program as well.
Service area: Houston Metro area and 1.5-hour radius
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
• Services, troubleshoots, repairs and programs low voltage panels, wiring and devices.
• Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
• Provides customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
• Ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Provides documentation of service and hours worked.
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Must be detail-oriented.
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm
Qualifications
• TX Alarm license
• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• 5+ years of servicing security and fire systems.
• Must have a working knowledge of trouble shooting enterprise intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, access control systems.
• Working knowledge of local/national codes desired.
• Must be able to read drawings and pull wires accordingly.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English
