Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Inspector

Loyal Source is looking for a Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Inspector for an employment opportunity in Tampa, Florida.

About the Role:

This position is integral to ensuring fire safety and compliance by performing critical inspections and documentation tasks within fire alarm and sprinkler systems. Operating primarily in Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, and Hillsborough counties, the Fire Alarm/Sprinkler Inspector plays a key role in the technical services division, enhancing fire safety measures and guaranteeing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine tests and inspections, documenting deficiencies in fire alarm systems, fire safety systems, fire sprinkler systems, and other fire safety product lines according to prescribed processes.
• Verify proper operation and prepare accurate and timely documentation of work performed.
• Prepare inspection and deficiency reports for submission to management.
• Interface with service management to ensure that all work is scheduled and handled efficiently.
• Engage with customers to explain work performed and answer their questions, resolving concerns as quickly as possible to ensure customer satisfaction and a positive experience.
• Maintain and organize truck inventory (equipment/parts and tools) to respond promptly to customer needs.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• NICET II Sprinkler is highly preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience performing inspections.
• FASA BASA is required (can obtain upon hire).
• EST cert is highly preferred.
• Experience with EST, Bosch, Firelite is highly preferred.

Schedule: M-F 7:00AM-4:00PM (No overnight travel. Overtime is optional, but plentiful).

Physical Demands: This position includes standing/walking/and working with hands for an extended period of time. Technician will also be required to climb on ladders and utilize hand/power tools.
