Loyal Source is looking for a Fire Alarm System Programmer for an employment opportunity in Winter Garden / Orlando, Florida.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a seasoned Fire Alarm System Programmer with hands-on experience in Edwards EST3 and EST4 systems. This role is ideal for a technician who can lead crews, manage installations, and program complex fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and program Edwards EST3/EST4 fire alarm systems and Signature Series devices.
  • Lead and supervise installation crews across multiple job sites.
  • Perform system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA 70/72, NEC, and local codes.
  • Provide customer training and support on system operation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of programming changes, service reports, and inspections.
  • Mentor junior technicians and promote safety and quality standards.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in fire alarm system installation and programming.
  • Proven ability to run crews and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Edwards EST3/EST4 systems.
  • Mastery knowledge of enterprise intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom access control systems.
  • Full knowledge of local/national codes.
  • Experience with Notifier a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening.

Certifications & Requirements:

  • NICET certification a plus
  • OSHA 10 Certification – Required
  • EST3/EST4 factory certification – Preferred

Schedule: 7 AM – 4 PM

Pay: Starting at $30 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
