Role Overview
The Technical Customer Service Representative provides support for security systems, access control, and customer service operations. Training is provided for all responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Alarm & Emergency Handling: Monitor incoming alarm signals, interpret events, and take appropriate action (dispatch guards/emergency services, notify leadership).
- Customer Communication: Make outbound calls and respond to inquiries regarding unusual system activity.
- Technical Support: Troubleshoot and program/re-program access control and CCTV systems; assist technicians and customers.
- Administrative Tasks: Process mail, greet visitors, transfer calls, update reports, and maintain organizational charts.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Arrange service calls, installations, and project timelines; track progress.
- Security Credential Management: Handle Smart ID cards, PIV processing, clearance updates, badge activation, and troubleshooting.
- Inventory & Key Management: Organize, distribute, and maintain keys and related records.
- Emergency Support: Assist during emergency operations and exercises.
- Reporting: Log daily activities and prepare regular reports.
Pay: $25/hr
Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours (between 5 AM – 9 PM).
- Strong phone communication, typing, reading, and writing skills.
- Comfortable following verbal and written instructions.
- Occasional onsite repair and programming assistance.
