About the Role:

The Quality Business Analyst supports the development and maintenance of organizational quality standards, playing a vital role in procedure writing and review processes. Collaborating with the Quality Team, the Analyst assists with quality assurance, internal audit activities, and ensures all documentation meets high-quality standards. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals to gain experience in quality management under the guidance of senior team members.

PAY: $50,000 per year

DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

Key Responsibilities

  • Procedure Writing and Review: Support the development and review of procedural documents, ensuring they are clear and consistent under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Document Management Support: Assist with maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the company’s documentation process including helping to ensure effective storage and retrieval of essential documents. 
  • Quality Management System Support: Provide support in maintaining the Quality Management System, learning how to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Quality Team Support: Provide support to general Quality Team tasks to include managing monthly progress and status report generation and publication, tracking of action items and tasks, and maintenance of various lists and logs used as information collection and audit evidence. 
  • Internal Audit Assistance: Help prepare documentation and track activities for internal audits, learning audit processes and practices.
  • Quality Control: Participate in quality reviews, assisting in ensuring documents and processes meet established standards and guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work with different teams to gather information needed for accurate and complete documentation, building strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Continuous Improvement: Learn to identify opportunities for process improvements and support the implementation of quality assurance best practices.
  • MS Office and SharePoint Utilization: Use MS Office and SharePoint for documentation tasks, with guidance and training provided.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some post-secondary education in a related field is a plus. A Degree in Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in an office setting or administrative role is preferred but not required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or business analysis role preferred.
  • Certification in Quality Management or related field is a plus.

SKILLS

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and work as part of a team.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSA)

  • Knowledge—a comprehensive understanding of the principles of quality control, quality assurance and data management in a variety of industries including Government and Healthcare. 
  • Skill—competence with QA Methodologies, audit techniques, data collection and analysis, root cause analysis, and excellent writing and briefing skills. 
  • Ability—capability to analyze data and present observations of overall quality and program management practices, overseeing large programs with critical data and information.

KEY COLLABORATORS

  • Work closely with the Sr. Documentation Manager and other Quality Team members
  • Assist with documentation management lifecycle with various department leads and process owners
  • Assist with special projects, audit preparation, proofreading
  • Assist with creating, formatting and editing documents
  • Provide general administrative support as needed
  • Assist with other clerical duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITION

  • The environment is generally an office location, remote home office, generally indoors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • General Office Activities: Engaging in standard office tasks such as using a computer and attending meetings in person or remote.
