About the Role:

The Senior Manager/Director of Medical Services will be responsible for leading and overseeing all medical initiatives within the organization. This strategic role involves managing both government and civilian contracts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. The position provides strategic-level management to ensure program goals and objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively. This role requires travel up to 90% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive medical services strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide visionary leadership to enhance the effectiveness and impact of medical initiatives.
  • Contract Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of medical services contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute contracts successfully.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and maintain quality assurance standards for medical services.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of healthcare delivery.
  • Government Relations:
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with government agencies involved in healthcare initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of government regulations and policies affecting medical services.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture to achieve common objectives.
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Develop and manage budgets for medical initiatives, ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-effective solutions without compromising service quality.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10 years of proven experience in a senior leadership role within the healthcare industry, particularly in government contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with government agencies and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and motivating teams.
  • Proficient in distilling pertinent information, crafting executive-level summaries, and analyzing management and financial reports.
  • Proven expertise in collaborative planning and cultivating relationships across organizational boundaries.
  • Seasoned in the successful development and management of logistical plans.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Available for communication by Customer’s personnel 24/7/365.
  • Able to travel to Austere Environments for extended periods of time.
  • 90% travel required.
  • Skilled in preparing and delivering clear, concise executive-level presentations and decision briefs.
  • Exhibits effective leadership, both in oral and written communication.
  • Holds or qualifies for relevant management or human resources certifications, such as Program Management Professional (PMP), Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC), Certified Staffing Professional (CSP), or similar certifications.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to bend, stand, and sit for extended periods.
  • Able to reach to retrieve documents.
  • Able to carry materials and/or file boxes up to 20 pounds.
  • Able to travel to various austere locations.
