Loyal Source is looking for Registered Nurses for an employment opportunity. The coverage area for this role will be the state of Texas.

About the Role

Registered Nurses are integral members of health care teams, operating within a comprehensive primary care framework. They engage in a variety of specialized care, addressing ambulatory, emergency, mental health, and infirmary needs. As a Travel Registered Nurse, you'll navigate diverse clinical environments, offering your expertise across multiple locations, ensuring continuity of care and adapting quickly to different healthcare settings. Utilizing their expertise, nurses conduct screenings, identify medical conditions, and ensure coordinated care across shifts, significantly impacting patient outcomes and the clinic’s operational depth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care within the discipline's Scope of Practice.
  • Perform sick calls and physical examinations, utilizing established protocols and making appropriate referrals.
  • Administer medications across various routes and conduct treatments as ordered by healthcare providers.
  • Conduct intake screenings, laboratory specimen collections, and respond effectively to medical emergencies.
  • Offer clinical supervision to Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses and assistive personnel, as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program for Registered Nurses.
  • Minimum one year of professional nursing experience in clinical settings, with preference for experience in detention or correctional healthcare.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the duty state or compact state.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers® certification through the American Heart Association®.

  • Honesty, integrity, and proficiency in English.
  • Preferred: Verbal and written proficiency in Spanish and experience in specific healthcare settings.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in diagnostic equipment and telephonic services.
  • Adaptability to schedule changes and flexibility in duties.
  • Capability to maintain positive professional relationships in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Competence in electronic medical records and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA/PII regulations.

Benefits Offered: Medical, dental, vision, PTO, and holidays. Hotel and per diem included.

Pay: $35.89/hr + 5.09 H&W
