Service Technician

Service Technician – St. Louis, MO

Loyal Source is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in the St. Louis, Missouri area. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional with strong experience in camera networking, security systems troubleshooting, and access control service work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently in the field while providing high-quality service and support to customers.

Pay: $32/hr

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and maintain video surveillance systems, with a strong focus on camera networking.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving IP-based security systems and network-connected devices.
• Perform service and maintenance on access control systems.
• Troubleshoot system faults and identify open circuits and related issues within low-voltage and fire alarm-related systems.
• Respond to an average of three service tickets per day across assigned customer locations.
• Document work performed, service findings, and corrective actions.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding service status and recommendations.
• Work independently while managing daily schedules and priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and troubleshooting video surveillance systems and camera networking environments.
• Preferred manufacturer experience with Hanwha Vision and ExacqVision platforms.
• Strong background servicing and troubleshooting access control systems.
• Working knowledge of low-voltage systems and fire alarm-related concepts, including identifying and understanding open circuits.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working independently in the field.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturer certifications or hands-on experience with security and surveillance platforms.
• OSHA certification is a plus.
