Security Technician – Amarillo, TX
Loyal Source is hiring Security Technicians to support the installation of physical security systems in a construction/data‑center environment. This role involves hands‑on installation, cable work, and teamwork with multiple trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure CCTV, access control, alarms, and related security equipment
- Pull, route, label, and organize low‑voltage cabling
- Assist with system integration and device mounting
- Install conduit and cable trays per project drawings
- Troubleshoot installation and connectivity issues
- Coordinate with electricians, network teams, and other trades
- Follow all job‑site safety procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of cabling and installed devices
- Ensure all work meets quality and security standards
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of security system or low‑voltage installation experience
- Experience with cable pulling and conduit work
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of low‑voltage cabling and basic electrical safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical training or certifications (NICET, CompTIA Security+, etc.)
- Experience in new construction or data centers
- Familiarity with CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
