Job Description
Loyal Source is looking for a Dispatch Operator for an employment opportunity in Washington, District of Columbia.
About the Role:
As a Dispatch Operator in our Technical Services division, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for safeguarding our facilities, personnel, and assets. This role involves monitoring security operations, coordinating response initiatives, and maintaining clear communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure safety and security at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security systems, CCTV, and alarms.
- Use telephones and email to contact employees or emergency personnel.
- Speak with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services, or equipment.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, addressing their concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams to ensure a unified approach to security.
- Provide testing support to ensure newly installed or maintained security devices function properly in the security system applications.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must undergo government background security screening to determine suitability.
Additional Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent coupled with three (3) years of experience in a maintenance planner or work control field.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including security management software is a plus.
- Experience working in an industrial environment.
- Previous experience using Maximo or CMMS program.
- Basic understanding of emergency response procedures.
- Proficient in using security software and monitoring systems.
- C-CURE 9000 Monitoring Station certification preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- This position is considered sensitive and requires USCP background screening processes.
- Work Schedule: Flexible schedule based on operational requirements. This position may require shift work, nights, weekends, and holidays.
