"I'm here today because of POTFF. I completed nearly 37 years of service because of it."
- Stephen M. DeLellis, Senior Director, Military Health
A Note from the Inside
Stephen spent most of his career in Army Special Operations and experienced POTFF—not as a concept, but as a lifeline. His story is why we talk about POTFF differently. Because POTFF isn’t just domains and staffing. It’s the coach who stays after hours. The clinician who helps you rebuild. The chaplain and psychologist who sit with you in grief. The family coordinator who calls when the world changes overnight and your spouse is left holding uncertainty.
What is POTFF?
POTFF is USSOCOM’s commitment to sustain the force and family through an integrated, embedded, multi-domain approach - built to optimize readiness, performance, and career longevity across the demands of training, deployment cycles, and transition.
It matters because SOF readiness is human: physical durability, cognitive clarity, psychological resilience, spiritual grounding, and the stability of relationships at home all shape performance over time. POTFF exists to strengthen that full system - proactively, not just when something breaks.
When you’ve lived the mission tempo, you learn quickly: family stability is readiness.
Our role: operationally relevant, human-centered, and built on trust
We support POTFF with integrated teams designed to reduce friction and strengthen continuity across disciplines. We take seriously what the community expects: professionalism, discretion, and support that fits real-world tempo.
Differentiators:
Integrated By Design
coordinated across domains so support isn't siloed
Human-first, Data-informed
using measurement to improve outcomes without losing the person
Trust is Earned
boundaries, privacy, consistency, and respect for the community
Operational Relevance
support that works inside the realities of training cycles and mission demands
We don’t approach POTFF like a contract line item - we approach it like a responsibility.
POTFF Shows Up In The Moments That Decide Longevity
Stephen’s story isn’t unique in spirit. It’s a window into what POTFF is built to do:
preserve people so the mission can endure.
