Mobile Medical Unit: Access in Action

At DAV, Loyal Source's Mobile Medical Units will be onsite to support MDE delivery and demonstrate one part of our broader access model. For Veterans and families, access is about more than where care happens. It is about whether services are timely, clear, respectful, and trustworthy. Loyal Source supports MDE delivery through multiple access points, including 138 clinics, multiple Mobile Medical Units, and a network of provider locations.

Access Should Reflect Real Life.

Showing Up to Listen, Learn, and Support

The DAV National Convention brings together Veterans, advocates, members, government leaders, caregivers, and service organizations focused on advocacy, education, and improving quality of life for Veterans. Loyal Source is attending with a listening-first mindset. Our goal is to engage with the DAV community around what better access, clearer communication, and stronger support can look like for Veterans with disabilities and their families.

Our Focus at DAV

  • Expanding access to care and services for Veterans with disabilities
  • Supporting healthcare services that help VA and the Veterans it serves
  • Demonstrating access through onsite Mobile Medical Units
  • Listening to Veterans, families, caregivers, and advocates
  • Supporting the full Veteran and family experience

Supporting Veterans Means Supporting the People Beside Them

Veterans often rely on families and caregivers to help navigate care, services, transportation, paperwork, appointments, and daily needs. That is why any serious conversation about access must include the family and caregiver experience. When care and services are easier to reach, understand, and navigate, the experience improves not only for Veterans, but also for the people who stand beside them.
