Systems Technician – Loyal Source

Loyal Source is seeking a skilled Systems Technician to support mission‑critical security and communication systems across New England. The role involves servicing, installing, and maintaining low‑voltage systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion, and wireless communication technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, and upgrade security and wireless systems
  • Install and terminate low‑voltage cabling and devices
  • Troubleshoot system issues and complete preventative maintenance
  • Document all work and communicate updates to the Service Team Lead
  • Conduct site surveys and identify upgrade opportunities
  • Read and interpret scopes, floor plans, and technical documentation
  • Provide professional customer service in sensitive environments

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience with low‑voltage/security systems
  • Proficiency with cabling, terminations, testing tools, and fire‑stopping
  • Basic computer and networking knowledge
  • Ability to work independently on small to medium systems
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • MA D‑License (for MA work)
  • OSHA 10
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel throughout New England and work off‑hours as needed
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders/lifts, and operate in varying conditions

Preferred

  • Experience with major security platforms (Honeywell, Genetec, Lenel, Bosch, etc.)
  • Certifications in fire‑stopping, lifts, or specialized security systems
  • Experience in detention or other sensitive environments
