Job Description
Summary
The Business Analyst I, Systems & Business Solutions serves as a program-level liaison between operational teams and the Systems & Business Solutions department. This role supports process documentation, issue identification, requirements gathering, testing, reporting validation, and change implementation activities across recruiting and delivery operations.
The Business Analyst I develops strong working knowledge of core business processes, Bullhorn, and other systems used by assigned programs. This position captures discrepancies, process issues, user feedback, and operational gaps and reports findings to the Operations Manager II, Systems & Business Solutions with appropriate context and recommended next steps.

Duties and Functions
Program & Operational Support
· Develop working knowledge of recruiting, delivery, onboarding, credentialing, and operational workflows across assigned programs.
· Serve as a program-level resource for understanding how business processes and system functionality support day-to-day operations.
· Capture discrepancies, process issues, workflow gaps, and user concerns surfaced by program teams.
· Escalate documented issues to the Operations Manager II, Systems & Business Solutions with context, impact, urgency, and recommended next steps when appropriate.
· Support internal stakeholders by helping clarify existing processes, system behavior, documentation, and operational handoffs.
Process Analysis & Documentation
· Document current-state processes, program-specific workflows, business rules, handoffs, and known exceptions.
· Assist with process mapping, gap identification, root cause analysis, and procedure updates.
· Maintain clear documentation so program knowledge is not dependent on one individual or informal team memory.
· Identify recurring issues that may require training, process correction, system review, reporting support, or formal escalation.
· Help convert frontline feedback into organized findings that can be reviewed and prioritized by leadership.
Systems Support & Functional Knowledge
· Develop functional knowledge of Bullhorn and other core business systems used by assigned programs.
· Assist with user feedback collection, system testing, validation, issue replication, and documentation of expected versus actual system behavior.
· Support change request intake by gathering business context, examples, screenshots, impacted users, and known process dependencies.
· Help confirm whether reported issues are system defects, user training needs, configuration questions, process gaps, or data quality concerns.
· Participate in system enhancement reviews and provide program-level insight into how proposed changes may affect users.
Project & Change Request Support
· Support projects and change requests by contributing firsthand program knowledge, process documentation, testing support, and stakeholder feedback.
· Assist with requirements gathering, test scenario development, user acceptance testing, rollout support, and post-implementation validation.
· Track assigned action items, open questions, and documentation needs related to systems and process projects.
· Help confirm that implemented changes are understood by users and functioning as intended within day-to-day operations.
· Escalate adoption barriers, missed requirements, or new process gaps identified after rollout.
Reporting & Data Review
· Review assigned operational reports, exports, or process outputs for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
· Identify trends, discrepancies, data quality concerns, and reporting gaps that may indicate process or system issues.
· Support reporting improvement efforts by documenting business definitions, field usage, data sources, and program-specific reporting needs.
· Provide findings to the Operations Manager II and Business Analyst II to support process improvement and decision-making.
Education and Experience (Required)
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
· Minimum two years of experience in recruiting, delivery operations, workforce solutions, business operations, operational support, reporting, or related experience.
· Experience working with business systems, ATS platforms, CRM systems, HR systems, reporting tools, or operational technology solutions.
· Strong documentation, organization, communication, and follow-through skills.
Preferred Requirements
· Experience with Bullhorn or similar ATS, CRM, recruiting, or workforce management systems.
· Experience as a recruiter, delivery team member, operations coordinator, program support resource, team lead, or operations leader preferred.
· Internal Loyal Source operational experience preferred, but external candidates with relevant process, systems, or recruiting operations experience may be considered.
· Exposure to process improvement, project support, user acceptance testing, change requests, or reporting validation preferred.

· Knowledge of recruiting operations, delivery operations, program workflows, and common operational support processes.
· Knowledge of how business systems support daily work, reporting, handoffs, user adoption, and process compliance.
· Knowledge of process documentation, issue tracking, stakeholder feedback collection, and basic business analysis practices.
Skills
· Skilled in documenting processes, gathering requirements, organizing feedback, and identifying inconsistencies.
· Skilled in communicating operational issues clearly and factually with appropriate context and examples.
· Skilled in prioritization, follow-up, testing support, data review, and cross-functional coordination.
Abilities
· Ability to identify when a process is not working as intended and escalate concerns with supporting details.
· Ability to learn core systems and explain how system functionality affects operational teams.
· Ability to support projects and change requests with firsthand program knowledge and accurate documentation.
· Ability to work with internal and external candidates, stakeholders, and team members in a professional and solution-focused manner.
Supervisory Responsibilities
· This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
· May provide process guidance, testing support, documentation support, and training assistance to operational users as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITION
· Primarily office environment.
· Frequent interaction with employees, leadership, vendors, and cross-functional business partners through in-person, phone, email, chat, and virtual meeting platforms.
· May require occasional travel for meetings, training, vendor reviews, system implementation activities, or company events.
· Requires ability to manage competing deadlines, system escalations, operational priorities, and confidential business information.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
· Frequent use of hands for keyboard and mouse operation.
· Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and through virtual meeting platforms.
· Must be able to read, review, and interpret information displayed on computer screens, reports, and system interfaces.
· Ability to move throughout an office environment and lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
