As we observe Veterans Day, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the invaluable contributions and sacrifices of those who have served our country. At Loyal Source, we are deeply committed to supporting Veterans through comprehensive healthcare initiatives, meaningful employment opportunities and active philanthropic efforts. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment that not only addresses the needs of service members but also empowers them to thrive in civilian life.
Through our Medical Disability Examination (MDE) clinics and partnerships with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), we actively work to enhance the compensation and pension claims process for those who have selflessly served. Once they return from deployment, having access to the medical care and resources they need is essential for supporting their overall well-being. Our MDE clinics are staffed by a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurse practitioners, psychologists and audiologists. Each clinic is supported by a full staff dedicated to ensuring Veterans receive comprehensive, compassionate examinations and that their claims process goes smoothly.
We also recognize the significant value that Veterans bring to the workforce through their diverse skills and experiences. With 25% of our employees being Veterans, we are dedicated to creating opportunities for those who have served. The resilience and discipline gained from military service provide invaluable assets in any profession, including a strong work ethic, leadership experience, adaptability and specialized training, enabling them to excel in various industries. We have Veterans working in every department at Loyal Source, and their contributions greatly assist the company in achieving our goals and fostering growth.
Apart from our MDE program and hiring Veterans, our support also extends into philanthropic initiatives. This year, we actively supported the Veteran community by participating in programs like the Ms. Veteran America Pageant, which raises funds to provide housing for homeless women Veterans and their children. We’ve also partnered with the Orlando VA to provide welcome home kits to Veterans moving into their new homes and have adopted military families during the holiday season. These efforts not only help increase awareness but also provide tangible assistance to Veterans and their families.
At Loyal Source, honoring Veterans is an ongoing commitment we embrace daily. We commend the fearless men and women whose selfless sacrifices and bravery protect our nation and preserve our freedom.
