Registered Nurse (RN) – El Paso, TX

Pay: $40.98–$43.98/hour (total compensation package)

Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care within RN scope of practice, including intake screenings, physical exams, sick call, medication administration, wound care, specimen collection, emergency response, nursing rounds, and patient referrals. Coordinate assigned shift activities, maintain electronic health records, administer treatments, and supervise support staff as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program (or qualifying foreign nursing program)
  • Degree issuing institution and or program must be accredited by an entity recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a hospital, medical office, or residential setting
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice or compact state
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Ability to utilize telephonic interpreter/translation services to complete assigned duties if not fluent in a language the patient understands.

Preferred

  • Spanish proficiency highly preferred
  • Detention/correctional or residential healthcare experience

Skills Strong communication, critical thinking, interpersonal, and cultural competency skills. Ability to work in a multicultural environment, maintain HIPAA/PII confidentiality, use EHR systems and Microsoft Office, adapt to changing priorities, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Schedule Facility operates 24/7/365. Must be available for day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts and respond during emergency activations. No on-call requirement.

Physical Requirements Frequent standing or walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces, frequent bending and reaching, and occasional lifting of patients or equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation
