Job Description
Summary
This position will provide mission critical, integrated, and operational support to the Senior & Executive Leadership team for the MDE Program. The Project Specialist will work directly with the Sr. Director of Programs and Vice Presidents to complete action items and tasks. These include but are not limited to administrative support (i.e., travel booking, reconciliation, etc.), Human Resource management, data analytics & audit support, presentation creation, plan development (i.e., project management communications, etc.), event support and individual requests from MDE leadership. This position acts as a liaison between Executive Leadership, Senior Leadership, and any stakeholders involved in the completion of action items and tasks.
Duties and Functions
1. Assumes the responsibility for the accurate and efficient completion of action items and tasks.
· Clearly understands any requests from Executive Leadership, Sr. Director of Program analytics, or other leaders, including clarifying the request, asking questions, and ensuring proper scope.
· Is familiar or becomes familiar with business environment, key stakeholders, and general operations to ensure action items as assigned and completed by appropriate parties.
· Leverages necessary skills to complete action items and tasks.
· Independently responsible for ensuring tasks are seen through to fruition.
· Works with applicable stakeholders from across the organization to complete tasks.
· Identifies areas of improvement and provides feedback to leaders as necessary.
· Ensures work is free of errors and mistakes.
· Oversees work from start to finish.
2. Rely on skills to successfully complete work.
· Leverage’s ability to create presentations, reports, and other documents required to complete tasks and action items. Deliverables are free of errors and near final upon submission.
· Utilizes tools to conduct data analysis, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
· Exercises effective consultative strategies to complete tasks.
· Undertakes short-term or long-term projects to address a variety of issues and needs
· Solve problems through helpful recommendations and practical suggestions.
· Brainstorms strategies for growth, positive change, and improvement.
· Problem solves and is capable of using flexible critical thinking skills to uncover customized solutions.
3. Provides support to the Sr. Director of Program Analytics, Executive Leadership and other MDE Loyal Source leaders.
· Includes frequent check-ins with leadership.
· Identifies opportunities for additional collaboration.
· Evaluate each situation periodically and makes adjustments when needed.
4. Ensure key performance indicators are met.
· Demonstrates independence and ownership of tasks by successfully completing them with little to no guidance from senior leaders.
· Oversees multiple projects at one time and prioritize appropriately so all deadlines are met.
· Partners with leadership to provide support to at least five departments and/or programs.
· Implements deliverables at the direction of Leadership.
5. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
· Develops positive working relationships with teammates and colleagues.
· Comfortable following up with stakeholders when action items are due or require their input.
· Collaborates with essential stakeholders across the organization – including Corporate and Field staff.

6. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
· Performs miscellaneous projects as assigned.
Education and Experience
· Education: BA/BS in related field is required
· Minimum of three years of administrative and/or program support experience in healthcare staffing, office management, or working in a similar healthcare environment
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills are required, including the ability to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently.
· Excellent interpersonal skills required with the ability to communicate effectively and interact with people of diverse backgrounds.
· Demonstrate the propensity of higher learning and analytical thinking.

An indoor office space with proper lighting and climate-controlled setting.
