Project Manager – Security Systems (Data Center Environment)

Location: Ann Arbor, MI (Local candidates only)

Work Arrangement: 80% On‑Site / 20% Work From Home

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large‑scale data center environment in Ann Arbor, MI. This role requires a hands‑on leader with a strong background in security system installations, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing complex technical projects in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage security system installation projects within a data center environment
  • Coordinate daily on‑site activities, ensuring work is completed on schedule and within scope
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and customer requirements
  • Conduct site walks, progress reviews, and project status updates
  • Identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when necessary

Required Qualifications

  • Must be local to the Ann Arbor, MI area
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the security industry (access control, CCTV, alarm installation)
  • Strong understanding of low‑voltage security systems and installation workflows
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification
  • Experience working with C•CURE or similar enterprise access control platforms
  • Prior experience in data center environments

Work Environment

  • 80% on‑site at the data center location
  • 20% remote for administrative and planning tasks

Pay Rate: $120,000/salary
