Job Description
Loyal Source is looking for Logistics Associate for employment opportunities in El Paso, Texas.
Pay: $29.00 + $5.09 Health & Welfare = $34.98 per hour total compensation package.
Position Summary
The Logistics Manager is responsible for conducting all aspects of supply chain operations, pick-list management, safety enforcement, inventory verification, and replenishment planning. This role maintains live inventory, stock orders, and material tracking. The Logistics Associate assist in setting priorities and obtaining necessary approvals, ensuring efficient and compliant logistic operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Supply Chain Operations & Safety
- Prepare and manage picklists for inventory movement and replenishment.
- Enforce safety protocols to prevent workplace injuries.
- Conducts and maintain logistic operation procedures
- Conducts receipts and staging of all incoming inventory to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Create bin locations and labels to maintain and replenish stockage
· Inventory Management
- Maintain all live inventory, including tracking, reconciliation, and adjustments.
- Conduct back orders and re-orders, including replacements for damaged, short, or partial shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels to resolve discrepancies and maintain optimal stock.
· Communication
- Coordinate with facility medical staff by setting operational priorities and conducting approved actions.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, facility personnel, and management to resolve supply chain issues.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in audits or inspections as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with supply chain management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory standards for inventory handling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience in healthcare, correctional, or government facility supply chain management.
- Certification in supply chain or logistics (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
- Experience with Workday Inventory Management.
Reporting & Supervision
- Reports to: Supply Chain and Logistics Supervisor
- Collaborates with: Warehouse staff, facility staff, and procurement teams.
Additional Requirements
- Must pass background checks and security clearance.
- Participate in initial and annual training on supply chain procedures, safety, and emergency response.
Physical Demands
· All candidates must be physically able to perform all strenuous duties entailed in this position. Candidates will be able to exert themselves under rigorous environmental conditions.
· This individual must also be able to maneuver throughout small hallways and many stairways either in response to emergencies or to conduct daily responsibilities.
· This candidate will be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Be physically active for long periods without getting tired or out of breath. Coordinate movement of several parts of the body, such as arms and legs, while the body is moving such as stooping, bending, lifting, pulling, and twisting. Able to walk long distances up to and including 200ft over uneven dirt grounds. Must be able to push, pull, and carry at minimal 25 pounds.
· Candidates will possess the ability to work irregular hours; and will be flexible to change location within a sector when asked.
CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS AND VERIFICATION:
The Prime Contract requires that employees and representatives performing work on the Project be United States citizens or foreign citizens who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Subcontractor shall utilize the E[1]verify system in accordance with FAR 52.222-54 to verify employment eligibility.
