Location: Miramar, FL

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Overview
Loyal Source is seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in the Miramar, Florida area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire alarm systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while servicing customer sites throughout South Florida.
This role will primarily involve responding to service calls, performing inspections, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring fire alarm systems are operating in accordance with applicable codes and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Respond to approximately 3 service tickets per day within a 2-hour radius of the Miramar office
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fire alarm systems
- Perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on fire alarm equipment
- Ensure compliance with all applicable fire and life safety codes and regulations
- Document service activities, repairs, and recommendations accurately
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide exceptional service
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of service requests
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with fire alarm systems
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm installation, troubleshooting, programming, and service
- Ability to read and interpret system drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with security systems, including:
- Access Control
- CCTV/Camera Systems
- Notifier fire alarm system experience
- NICET Certification (Level I, II, III, or higher)
- Knowledge of applicable NFPA codes and industry standards
